Stop categories are represented by a series of icons. These icons make it easier for you to quickly identify the types of places where the client is making stops. They provide you with more information than just a point on a map.
| Icon | Label | Description | Examples |
| Home | Client’s home inclusion zone | Location where client lives | |
| Work | Client’s work inclusion zone | Location where client works | |
| Education | Educational institutions | Schools and colleges | |
| Shopping | Shopping locations | Retail stores, shopping malls, grocery stores | |
| Social/Entertainment | Places of entertainment and social gathering | Restaurants, bars, theaters, private residences | |
| Recreation | Places of recreation | Parks, stadiums, gyms, hobby and craft workshops | |
| Worship | Places of worship | Churches, mosques, temples, synagogues, etc. | |
| Services | Professional service location | Doctor, hair salon, post office, mechanic | |
| Other | Unidentified category | Stops that are not identified in the above categories | |
| Travel | Moving between stops | Client is not at a stop | |
| Outage | No location points | Device was in “No Location” status | |
| Outage Recovered | Stored and forwarded location points | Device was in No Location, but points were stored and forwarded |
Icons also have the following features and benefits:
- Repeated stops are represented by a single icon rather than multiple dropped points.
- Clicking on an icon in the Daily Activity Routine view displays information about that stop, including:
- Type of location
- Location name
- Location address
- Location latitude and longitude coordinates
- Number of visits to that location and times of the visit(s)
- In the Daily Activity Routine view, you can update the location name if needed, by picking from a list of nearby businesses or by manually entering one.*
*SCRAM Systems relies on third-party mapping and geographic information system (GIS) services for categorizing and naming locations. Sometimes this presents a few challenges. For example, if a client is in a shopping mall with many small stores, the data we receive may provide the name of the store next door to where the client is actually located. To help you mitigate such circumstances, we provide a list of all nearby businesses and allow you to rename the stop.
