Using SCRAMNET GPS to add and manage victims, the “SCRAM Ally” application (app), when installed on the victim’s smartphone, will notify the victim (and other recipients) when the client comes within a pre-configured proximity.
Activation of this feature requires a contract amendment. If you are interested in activating SCRAM Ally victim notification, please get in touch with your SCRAM Systems Account Manager or contact SCRAM Systems Customer Service.
Victim Smartphone Application
The victim is not required to carry a GPS tracking device. Instead, SCRAM Ally™ uses a victim-provided Android or iOS smartphone. The SCRAM Ally app is installed on the victim’s smartphone and provides access to the phone so data can be transmitted to and from SCRAMNET GPS. The victim must agree to user terms and must provide required permissions to access features that are necessary for SCRAM Ally to work properly and efficiently. The victim must always keep their smartphone charged and carry it with them.
