Victim Zone Violation

A victim zone violation is determined by comparing the location of the client to the location of the victim. The following information is required:

  • Victim location information
    • Determined by data from SCRAM Ally and derived from the smartphone location service.
    • The smartphone must have the required services turned on.
    • SCRAM Ally must be able to communicate with the system for data transmission.
  • Client location information
    • Client must be active and have an assigned SCRAM GPS® bracelet on ankle.
    • The location is determined by data from the bracelet.
    • Client must be on 1X1 supervision plan.
  • Moving zone radius
    • This is a required setting on the Victim Profile Summary Settings page in SCRAMNET GPS.
    • Determines the proximity between the victim and the client, that triggers the alert.
