The SCRAM Beacon addresses common issues in high-density and impaired settings while also extending the battery life of the SCRAM GPS Bracelet. This is accomplished due to the SCRAM GPS bracelet automatically converting to RF communication when in range of the Beacon. The communication of bracelet data is then transferred through the beacon via Ethernet or landline. When the client moves out of range of the Beacon, the GPS location and communications functionality are automatically enabled, and the bracelet’s data is communicated via the cellular network.
