Installation Appointment
You must contact the service provider/agency within 24 hours to set a date and time for the installation of a SCRAM CAM Bracelet. You are responsible for setting up the installation appointment. Contact your agent to schedule an installation appointment.
Fees
Dues for the SCRAM Program include the installation fee and the daily fee, which are defined by the service provider/agency.
On the date and time set for the bracelet installation, you must bring:
- Installation fee
- Your Directive
- Picture ID
SCRAM CAM Bracelet
The SCRAM CAM Bracelet fits around your ankle, is worn 24/7, and tests for alcohol every 30 minutes. You will feel a slight buzz when a test is performed.
SCRAM Base Station
Plug the base station into a phone line and ensure that you are within the base station range for 30 minutes every day. The base station does not affect your phone’s operation.

Equipment Maintenance
Your agent may require that you come into your service provider’s office for bracelet or base station maintenance. If the bracelet or base station malfunctions, you will be contacted to schedule an appointment.
Personal Hygiene
The following restrictions are strictly enforced:
- No swimming or submerging in liquid
- Showers are the only permitted bathing method
If the bracelet and/or base station are damaged, you will be held responsible for the cost of the damages or the equipment.
Alcohol-Based Products
You cannot use or be around products that contain alcohol. The list of products includes but is not limited to:
- Lotion
- Cologne
- Hair spray
- Cleaning products
- Bug spray
- Gasoline
- Lysol
- As further stipulated by supervisory authority
Non-Compliance Events
A non-compliance event includes:
- Alcohol consumption
- Tampering with the bracelet
- Missing your communication times
- Not keeping up with your payment plan
- No call/no show for a scheduled appointment
SCRAM Program Completion
This will be determined based upon court directive and compliance.
