Client Movement
Once a client is active for SCRAM House Arrest supervision, the bracelet and base station will communicate via Radio Frequency (RF) continuously. Client movement events generate when there is a change in the RF connection. For example, while the client is in RF range of the base station, they are considered “at home.” When the client moves outside of the RF range of the base station, it is considered a leave, or “away from home.” The HA schedule entered into the system will determine whether or not the client movements are a violation of the monitoring restrictions. The HA schedule is a “may leave” schedule. In other words, the HA schedule entered into the system designates when the client is allowed to be out of RF range of the base station.
| HA Alert |
Description |
| Failed to Leave |
Generated when the client does NOT leave the home by the start time of a “Must Leave” window. This would be considered a violation based on the saved HA schedule. |
| Failed to Return |
Generated when the client does NOT return home by the end time of a “May Leave” or “Must Leave” window. This would be considered a violation based on the saved HA schedule. |
| Late Leave |
Generated when the client leaves home after the start time of a “Must Leave” window. This would be considered a violation based on the saved HA schedule. |
| Late Leave with RF Interference |
Generated when the base station detects the client has moved outside the authorized range after the start of a “Must Leave” window, but RF interference may be contributing to that detection. |
| Late Return |
Generated when the client returns home after the end of a “May Leave” or “Must Leave” window, provided that the client did NOT leave outside of any authorized leave window. In that case, this alert would be superseded by the “Return from Unauthorized Leave” alert. |
| Leave |
Generated when the bracelet is outside the RF range of the base station at the appropriate scheduled time. This event would not be considered a violation based on the saved HA schedule. |
| Return |
Generated when the RF connection between the bracelet and base station is restored at the appropriate scheduled time. This event would not be considered a violation based on the saved HA schedule. |
| Return from Unauthorized Leave |
Generated when the client returns home from an unauthorized leave. |
| Unauthorized Leave |
Generated when a client moves outside the RF range of the base station at a time when that client is not allowed to do so. |
| Unauthorized Leave with RF Interference |
Generated when the base station detects that the client has moved outside the authorized range, but RF interference may be contributing to that detection. |
| Unauthorized Return |
Generated when the client returns home before the end time of a “Must Leave” window. This would be considered a violation based on the saved HA schedule. |
