If you elect to use Direct Connect, the Direct Connect software must first be installed on a Microsoft Windows 7 or newer computer. Direct Connect is not compatible with Apple macOS, Google Chrome OS (Chromebooks), Linux, or the now-deprecated Windows 8 RT mobile operating system.
How you install the Direct Connect software depends on the color of the label on the Direct Connect device that you will use to upload data to SCRAMNET. The software may also be used to transfer data from a SCRAM base station, regardless of which hardware device you have (white-label or black-label).
